Alessi, and co-produced by Amie Barsky and Baptiste DeRivel. <em>Knuckle Draggers<\/em> takes a humorous but very real look at the state of modern male\/female relationships. <em>Knuckle Draggers<\/em> is the relationship movie from a male perspective.<\/p>\n<p>The story follows Ethan, an all around nice guy who gets dumped because he wasn\u2019t able to provide his fianc\u00e9e with the plush, stable life her friends were living. Desperate to get her back, he seeks help from his older brother Kyle, a tough talking sexist who seems to have a way with the ladies. Kyle gives Ethan a crash course on women and dating much to the disgust of some of Ethan\u2019s female friends. Just when it seems Kyle\u2019s misogynistic theories are about to prove themselves true, things take an unexpected turn and force Ethan, Kyle and their friends to reassess their views on relationships.<\/p>\n<p>In the spirit of movies like <em>Swingers<\/em> and <em>Brothers McMullen<\/em>, <em>Knuckle Draggers<\/em> gives us a unique point of view, a timely message, and a lot of heart. Not another indie film about friends hanging out, <em>Knuckle Draggers<\/em> provokes questions about what modern couples want versus what they need, and how their needs may not have evolved much from those of our caveman ancestors.<\/p>\n<p>Scottish actor <strong>Ross McCall<\/strong> heads a dynamic ensemble cast in the lead role of \u2018Ethan\u2019. His credits include the HBO miniseries \u2018Band of Brothers\u2019 and most recently \u2018Crash\u2019, the Starz TV series. <strong>Paul J. Alessi<\/strong>, plays \u2018Kyle\u2019, Ethan\u2019s sexist outspoken brother. His credits include the Ten \u2018til Noon and the TV series Desire. <strong>Omar Gooding<\/strong> plays Ethan\u2019s best friend \u2018Russell\u2019. Omar\u2019s credits include \u2018Baby Boy\u2019, the HBO series \u2018Deadwood\u2019 and he\u2019s just joined the cast of the upcoming Jerry Bruckheimer TV series \u2018Miami Trauma\u2019. <strong>Amie Barsky<\/strong> plays \u2018Patricia\u2019, Ethan\u2019s strong-minded female best friend. The film also includes <strong>Danielle Nicolet<\/strong> \u2018The Starter Wife\u2019, <strong>Justin Baldoni<\/strong> \u2018Heroes\u2019, <strong>Serah D\u2019Laine<\/strong> \u2018General Hospital\u2019 and <strong>Jennifer Alden<\/strong> \u2018Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Knuckle Draggers<\/em> features a musical score by <strong>Austin Wintory<\/strong>, whose credits include the multiple award-winning <em>Captain Abu Raed.<\/em> A dynamic soundtrack accompanies the score, including tracks <em>by J Mello &amp; Dave Navarro<\/em>, <em>Tyler Hilton, Marching Band, and Jennifer Love-Hewitt &amp; Sophie B.
